AIS, a telecommunications provider in Thailand with 21 million subscribers, chose Greenplum and Sun Microsystems (http://www.sun.com/) for its data mart consolidation platform, initially purchasing 12 terabytes of capacity with plans to grow this in the coming year. Greenplum worked with partner Ferntree Asia Pacific, a business intelligence and data warehousing services company with offices in Australia, India, the Philippines and Singapore, to provide services for AIS and other customers in the region.
